Bar Service Options

The Kalla Hall patio is the only space with a built-in bar area. We have a mobile bar cabinet that can be placed in either ballroom or on either patio. Alcohol must be served by a TABC licensed bartender. Events with alcohol require Keller PD security.

Ample free on-site parking for your guests, with easy access to venue entrances. Conveniently located on South Elm Street and Page Street for guests traveling from across DFW.

The Kalla proudly offers an open vendor policy. We believe your event should reflect you, not our preferred list. You are free to hire any licensed and insured caterer, photographer, florist, DJ, or production team that fits your vision and budget.

While we maintain a wonderful Trusted Vendor List you can draw from, that list is a resource, not a requirement. This level of flexibility is rare among event venues in the DFW area, and it is something our clients tell us they value deeply.

All vendors must provide a current, valid certificate of insurance and be confirmed with our team at least 30 days before your event.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should we book? ▼

We recommend booking 12 to 18 months in advance for weddings and receptions, especially for peak spring and fall dates. Corporate events and private celebrations can often be booked 6 to 12 months ahead. Contact us to check availability for your date.

What is required to secure our date? ▼

A signed contract and a 50% rental deposit secures your date. A refundable $1,500 security deposit is also due at signing. The remaining rental balance is due 30 days before your event.

What is your cancellation policy? ▼

If you cancel more than 60 days prior to your event date, the rental deposit is forfeited. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of the event date, the security deposit and full rental fee will be retained.

Can we host both the ceremony and reception at The Kalla? ▼

Absolutely. Many clients love the convenience of hosting their entire wedding day with us. You can move seamlessly from an outdoor ceremony by the waterfall wall directly into a grand reception in one of our elegant ballrooms.

Can we use our own vendors? ▼

Yes. The Kalla has an open vendor policy. You are welcome to bring in any licensed and insured caterer, photographer, florist, or DJ. We also maintain a Trusted Vendor List with outstanding partners if you need recommendations. Vendors must be confirmed and on file at least 30 days before your event, and each vendor must provide a current, valid certificate of insurance.

What is the venue's guest capacity? ▼

The Kalla Hall accommodates up to 300 standing guests (225 seated). The Crystal Kalla Ballroom is perfect for intimate gatherings of up to 175 standing guests (125 seated with tables and chairs). Both spaces include tables and chairs set up according to your pre-approved floor plan.

Is insurance required for my event? ▼

Yes. All events are required to have day-of event insurance, with a minimum of $1,000,000 in coverage naming The Kalla Events as additional insured. This can be purchased through EventHelper or EventSured for approximately $100 to $150. Proof of insurance must be provided 90 days before your event date.

Is The Kalla ADA accessible? ▼

Yes. The venue and all restrooms are fully ADA accessible. We want every guest to enjoy your celebration comfortably.
